Mauricio Valdes

Nace el 22 de julio del 1966 en la Ciudad de México.

Estudios en: Colegios lasallistas, St. Hughs collage. Nothingham Inglaterra Portsmouth. ITESM campus Edo. de Mex. Universidad Nuevo Mundo.

Mauricio Valdes tiene ya 30 años de experiencia desarrollando diseño en México y en el extranjero. Es el primer mexicano en obtener "THE RED DOT DESIGN AWARD" paro México 2008/2009 en Essen, Alemania por diseño de producto

Ganador del premio "ICONOS DEL DISEÑO" 2007 por la revista ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST MEXICO.

Ganador del premio "QUORUM" en dos ocasiones 2002 y 2012.

Wood design award second place/ arrow chair, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Ganador del premio de plata “INTERNATIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD

Primer mexicano en obtener el prestigioso premio "THE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2020* FOR ENCELLENT PRODUCT DESIGN Categorías STATIONARY, Frankfurt, Alemania.

Ha exhibido su trabajo en Los Vagos, Son Francisco, Nueva York, Landres, España, Países Bajos, Bélgica, Alemania, Italia, Dinamarca, Suecia, Finlandia, Francia y Luxemburgo. Ha sido juez, orador y embajador de diseño y su trabajo ha sido publicado en varios libros de diseño intencionales y actualmente tiene y dirige su propio estudia de diseñó industrial y showroom en la Col. Roma Norte, en la Ciudad de México, donde actualmente desarrolla Diseño de Producto, Textil, Grafico, Joyería, Interiorismo, iluminación, Diseño Urbano, Diseño Sustentable. Arquitectura y Consultoría.

Was born in July 22th, 1966 in Mexico Citi.

Mauricio Valdes has 33 years of experience developing design in Mexico and abroad.

He is the first Mexican designer to obtain THE RED DOT DESIGN AWARD: for Mexico 2008/2009 in Essen, Germany, for product design.

Winner of the “ICONS OF DESIGN” Awrad 2007 by the magazine ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST México.

Winner of the “QUORUM" award on two occasion, 2002 and 2012.
